Hello World! Fakturo 0.0.3 Released

Published on 10.09.2021

Hello world is the usual first post of every company blog. However we wanted to do more than writing an article: we have released our first version (the 0.0.3) to general public. Feel free to test it, submit any issues and start to use it in test environments.

You can download the latest release on download page. Let’s sum up some notable points of the first release to public:

One binary to rule them all

To run it, simply type this on your favourite shell:

./fakturod

and Fakturo will bind the server on 8000 port. Go to http://your.ip:8000/ to get started with generating PDF invoices. The PDF invoices are saved (among HTML templates) in the folder privateData/ that is not served in the web by default. The PDF names are generated randomly with a 24 characters token.

We estimate the next release in about a month. We’ve already started working on 0.0.4 that will bring new functionalities to Fakturo, such as currencies support (even cryptocurrencies).

We’re looking for any feedback. Enjoy Fakturo and be sure to bookmark this blog to keep updated about the next versions!

We have an helping desk in case you need further assistance.
